Modern - absence of mold, rust, mildew, water stains, and diy, amateurish repairs. Shower instead of shower/tub combo. Multiple wall hooks to hang clothes and toiletry bags. Good bathroom ventilation. Plenty of desk height shelves for suitcases so I didn’t have to use my bed or bend over to floor when trying to live out of my suitcase - old age issues for me.

My experience at Hayyat Downtown Raleigh was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. They were helpful and attentive throughout my entire stay. The room was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and had everything I needed. The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to all the main attractions. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety, and the overall comfort of the hotel made me feel completely at home. Conveniently located, staff attentive. It could use a refresh. No microwaves in the room. One in lobby for use. In house restaurant for breakfast. Seems more oriented for business travelers.
