The staff from check in to wait staff at the restaurant were excellent. If you wake up late on a Sunday morning don’t expect even a cup of coffee. The smell in the room was very unpleasant, so I opened windows and doors to the hallway. Taxis are very expensive but there were no other options to and from the airport or to downtown Reykjavik. The little hamlet of Kaflavik is charming and the walk along the sea, lovely.

The Park Inn was picked for the convenience , close proximity to the airport . With a early flight as well as dropping off a rental car this was the perfect location The room was spacious , clean and we loved the big terry cloth bathrobes , unexpected treat !
