If you want a quieter area, Montijo is lovely. Hotel is older but it is clean and the staff are great. If you have your own transport or are happy to take taxis or ride share it's fine but the public transport is limited.

The hotel advertised it has a 24 hour shuttle to the hotel from the airport but it doesn’t. Therefore costing me over $156.00 just in taxi fees. I would have booked something much closer to the airport had I known that. Taxi fees where more than the room charge for the night.

The most wonderful thing about this hotel...was the amazing staff !! If you are looking for a hotel close to Lisbon and not pricey this is the hotel for you !! Free parking...free delicious breakfast ...and the best hamburger ever we had in the bar !! Highly recommend this wonderful hotel !!

No electric outlets near the bed. No side table. No blanket on the bed, only a sheet. Price gouged in a major way. Location was much farther from the airport than indicated in the Expedia search. Dirty carpet in the hall. Definitely not worth the 1000 euros charged due to the hotel taking advantage of a lack of available rooms that night. Run down.
