Beautiful, warm, and comfortable home on the golf course

This beautiful home is perfect for any couple or family vacation or gathering. We try to stay somewhere in the Show Low or Pine Top area over Thanksgiving and this was one of our favorites. The only thing we missed was a snowfall but you never know in this part of the state. Be prepared in the fall and winter months for inclement weather. We appreciate the homeowners who allow pets - especially in a home as lovely as this - and we try to reciprocate the privilege by making sure our dog is well-behaved. When renting these homes, make sure you bring all of the necessities you need for cooking, such as spices, pantry items, etc. While some homes offer the basics others do not so prepare ahead of time or take advantage of the nearby Safeway only 3 miles away. Everything else needed for cooking is usually on hand. If you book this home - you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful area and home

We took some of my family members here for a 5 night stay and we very much loved the secluded house, views, and amenities inside the community. The lake was close and you can rent your some fishing supplies as well as kayaks and we had a blast there. There were a few cons to the home, one being my nephew has very bad allergies to cats and on the first day we could smell cat pee on the second floor. My nephew laid on the couch upstairs one day and by the evening his eyes were itching and he was sneezing with a runny nose. There were no cushions on the balcony chairs to enjoy that space either. So we never bothered using the upstairs space after that. Also the beautiful wood table outside had some kind of tree sap all along the one bench, rendering that useless for family dinners as I originally thought. Lastly I thought the fridge provided filtered water and the maintenance man came out to fix it but found out it is not connected the water line. So if you're okay with drinking faucet water you're fine, otherwise bring your own - also I wished they had some kind of regular curtains to be able to block out the sunlight for kids in those early morning hours. Now the rest of our trip went great, and if they could change those things I would give it 10 stars if I could. It is a wonderful family community, the folks are friendly, the play areas are clean, and we would absolutely stay in this area again.

Fantastic Cabin

I stayed here just recently for my birthday weekend and had an amazing time. The feel of the cabin was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. I would recommend this cabin to anyway looking to have an amazing view of the golf course with that great cabin feel.

Needs Help

lights burnt out doors not locking fire detector battery low and was beeping for over 24 hours before someone came to fix it. I texted 6 times trying to get someone to fix it the same day. We had to try to sleep with it going off all night. Bathrooms not having enough soap and supplies Very poor customer service from the management company the water to the outside trees and plants was on the whole time we were there. we were told the owner knows about it. Property needs some attention

Big Buck Lodge is a beautiful cabin. We absolutely loved the huge patio .The house was comfortable

We had a lovely time on this property. The patio is big and we were able to grill and enjoy our meals outside . The house is clean and comfortable. We took walks and drove to the clubhouse to enjoy the pool and playground for the kids:) The direction were clear and the house well equipped. We would love to return and stay longer for sure. If we could make a few suggestions: few more towels , a cutting board in the kitchen and hand soap in the bathrooms. The table outside - the sheets have wood resin seeping out and as we sat the first time our whole group got our pant buttons stuck and basically ruined with the sticky resin- should be refinished and sealed maybe ??? WiFi password does not work. Even when we called it was not fixed. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Carmen Giurgiu

Very nice Torreon cabin

We were very pleased with our stay in the Big Buck Cabin. It was clean and comfortable, and communication with the property manager was quick and easy. The Cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is set back nicely from the road giving the property a very private feel. The backyard has a nice set-back from the fairway, so it feels private in the back as well. The furniture and appointments inside the house were very nice. If I were to nit-pick, it would be nice if the cooking implements (pots, pans, etc.) were updated a bit, but this is pretty typical or rentals. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!
