This hotel was close to the sites were were interested in. It was typical for a hotel stay. The towels were so rough it hurt to dry your face. Breakfast was ok. The plastic wear was super flimsy.

Perfect for what we needed

It was perfect for what we needed. We needed to be close to all the historical sites and it was right there within walking distance. Breakfast was yummy, staff was helpful and friendly, and clean. Just a little out of date and we didn’t love that we could hear everyone outside our door. It for sure could use some updates but over all, it was great!

Only hotel at this spot on the Erie Canal.

The main property was nice. Our bathroom needed attention. The tub was not cleaned well. The tub did not drain well. Towels were fair, very thin. Sheets appeared clean. One of the too sheets were stained. Temp in the room was nice. Hot tub was OOO initially but was fixed by the 2nd night. No issue keeping our bikes in the room.

person checking us in was not very people friendly & took a long time getting process done. when we went back to request towels for our room (there were none) he seemed to not believe us. will not be staying there again.

Nice and close to things.

It is really one of the only hotels in Palmyra. It does have some rooms that join together. They weren’t quite prepared for a full house and ran out of breakfast items quickly.

Needs new management

The rooms were super spacious. We had a 2 bedroom 2 king suite which was really nice but that is where the positive review ends. We arrived Friday night. Saturdays breakfast was pretty sad. The waffle machine ran out of batter. All that was left was instant oatmeal, scrambled eggs (powdered which no one in my family will eat) and plain cheerios, and maybe some bread. By Sunday it was even worse. They ran out of milk and they were bringing one bag of bread or bagels at a time but one family could wipe that out in minutes. By Monday I was completely shocked. It was completely wiped out! I went to the front desk and said there was no food! He said they were supposed to get a shipment of food on Friday but didn’t and instead of going to the store getting more they decided to limp along all weekend and hope for the best. The hotel was completely full! So many families and kids, there was no way it was going to last! By Monday at 9:30 they finally got more food. I won’t even speak of the lack of cleanliness of hotel employees helping with the food. It was probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The whole time they were so funny about putting any food or utensils out. Like they were rationing everything, even after being restocked. We stayed 4 nights and never received room service. I’m not sure what’s going on with this hotel but clearly they are struggling.
