I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. By mistake, my friend made a reservation for me through Expedia from October 6–9, 2025, and I also made my own reservation through Hotels.com for the same dates.When I checked in, the receptionist told me there were two reservations under my name. Since I didn’t know my friend had also booked a room for me, I said I only had one reservation. The staff didn’t explain further, and my receipt didn’t show anything unusual, so I assumed it was a simple mistake.On the day of checkout, the same receptionist said I hadn’t paid. I showed my Hotels.com confirmation showing that my stay was prepaid, but she insisted that the hotel hadn’t received payment and made us pay again. After returning home, I contacted Hotels.com and discovered that my friend’s booking through Expedia caused the confusion.If the receptionist had clearly explained on the first day that there were two separate reservations under my name, I could have canceled one right away for the next two nights and avoided losing €107.98(total I paid €161.99 for 3 nights)Because of the hotel’s poor communication and lack of transparency, I ended up paying for nights I didn’t use.This is not an honest or professional way to do business, and it has seriously damaged my trust in this hotel.
