Great location; a few caveats

We stayed at the Casa Pina apartment for a few days over the New Year's break. Our experience was good, except for a couple of issues highlighted below: What we liked: * fantanstic location, literally 50 meters from the main train station at Sorrento, and the bus stop for the Amalfi Coast. Big plus if you have luggage and are new to the area. * warm, friendly greeting and check-in by the staff member, Angelo. Responsive host * master bedroom was nice, and kitchen and balcony were good A few things that made our stay uncomfortable. Not the fault of the staff (he tried to fix, but no avail), but more of an issue for the apartment owner. * the hot water, or lack of it - big issue since Sorrento is very cold in the winter months. The unit has a propane tank driven external "instant-on" type hot water system that is not usable. Does not work properly (10 seconds on, few minutes off), and even when intermittently it did, it was underpowered for the apartment. You actually cannot shower because there is no hot water flow. * apartment main door has an insulation problem - cold air rushes in through the seams when closed, and the heater unit could not heat the living areas adequately * very bare bones kitchen, other amenities.

Appartement bien situé à Sorrente

L'appartement est très bien situé, très près de la gare (train et bus),des restaurants et d'un supermarché. Par contre si vous craignez les bruits extérieurs, pensez aux bouchons d'oreilles. Nous avons été très bien accueillis en français avec beaucoup de gentillesse. L'appartement est très propre mais tout de même, un bémol. L'eau chaude provenant d'un chauffe-eau au gaz est très irrégulière. Il nous a fallu un moment avant de nous y adapter. Les évacuations laissent à désirer et il y a de très mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain.

Limpieza Comodidad La ubicación a metros de ferrovía y metros de avenida central Súper seguro Es fundamental la ubicación pues si vas sin auto estás a 50 metros de los medios de transporte a todas las atracciones
