The room was clean. However not sure how long is has been since an update. Ceiling cracks, wallpaper tears, We booked a king sized suite which was as expected. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep well. There was this awful vibration coming from the floor when I stood in our bedroom. We could feel it in our bed at night. We probably should have asked for a different room. We purposely booked a room with a balcony to watch the Christmas parade only to be told the hotel has no balconies. This needs to be removed from the site. Misleading. $$$. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The amenities were fine. A safe would be nice.. I would book again but not hesitate to change rooms if I ever felt that vibration again it was awful!

My room was really large. I had a corner room that over looked the historic street. It is all decorated for Christmas. It's like being in a Hallmark movie. Staff are very friendly. The food from the Bistro was delicious.

Room was great staff was great along with the amenities and was food selection was 4/5. I loved my stay very historic town with little to no activities to do around the hotel, for the price of location it could be less as far as things to do in the area and not being a modern town. Otherwise great hotel !!

The room was very nicely decorated and clean and the staff was very helpful. Their location to so many walkable stores, shops and dining will definitely be a choice again. The hotel size really appealed to safety, especially traveling alone!

Only downside was the balcony was inside, overlooking the bar. Which isn’t bad, it was fun but little disappointed, was expecting an outdoor balcony. But would book again and plan to next month.

We stayed for one night on a Saturday in mid August during a road trip from SC to NY. Friendly staff at check in. Room was cool, quiet, and comfortable. We parked for free a few blocks away at the FXBG George Street Lot. Very walkable area. After we were settled we set out on foot to explore the town and hit a few bars and a restaurant for dinner. A great stay and hope to return if in the Fredericksburg area again.
