This is a cool historic property and friendly helpful staff. Pros- great location, style, affordable, rooftop bar, speakeasy in basement Cons- terrible lighting in rooms (icky daylight led lamps with mixed color temps), beds were saggy I’d say it’s a mixed bag, and although I liked the style I’d prolly opt for somewhere else next time because of the room issues.

Comfort and peace in Georgetown

What an absolute dream of a hotel! They had NPR playing on the radio when I arrived, then later came by for turn down service, complete with classical music, a bottle of water, and chocolates. Divine!

I felt compelled to leave a review bc there are so many bad ones! This hotel was lovely. All my interactions with the staff were great. They were more than accommodating. Yes, the building is older. Yes, you can hear water in the pipes. But if you can’t deal with this stay in a newer building. My number one concern is always cleanliness and my room was perfect. And surprisingly large. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The adorable rooftop bar was the cherry on top!

Comfortable stay and conveniently located. Seems to be a bit of a problem with cars being able to load and unload and traffic gets backed up and horns start honking. Altogether great stay and the staff were very welcoming and professional!
