We were supposed to be staying at the illustrious Hilton & we didn’t mind paying for the privilege - or so we thought. A picture is worth a thousand words & I did take pictures. Here goes the litany of complaints. Maid service was the pits, and this is with emphasis! If not, for a staff shortage & unbeknownst to us a Manager delivered our room service & asked did we receive 2 bottles of water in the room & assuming she meant with my room service order, I said No. The manager said in the room. I said no we’ve been buying bottles of water for our room. Then I began talking about the exchange of dirty towels for clean: I left 4 sets on the floor and then someone unceremoniously dumped a few towels & cloths on the bathroom counter & a few coffee packs dumped on the counter near the coffee maker, beds still unmade & dirty sheets, no replacement bathroom or facial tissue I was aghast! I used our a-tips to clean out the lint & dust in the vents OMG!!! The sinks, toilet, floors & bathtub were NEVER cleaned when we departed for the day @ 8 & returned @4:30 pm some days. Rm 528 needs to be refurbished, behind the toilet has not been caulked or cleaned in years , the toilet never stops running & we listened to it run all night! The stopper in the sink & shower handle needs repair & layers of dust lay upon EVERYTHING, not simple dust but layers !!!!! I cleaned the dust from Oct 16 thru Oct 24 leaving! There is a burn spot on ceiling above very old fire alarm!
