Seemed like a lesser known option during the Transworld convention, which made our stay a bit calmer than others around us. Staff were always available, friendly, and helpful. Venue is stunning.

The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby and common areas are beautiful. They have tried to enact a dress code for the common areas, I suspect to keep the quality inside the property up. It's to the point of being a little inconvenient where you have to always dress up and can't really feels as relaxed as I would like. The area around the hotel is depressed. It's not their fault. There were police sirens every night. The record was a series of 8, spaced out about every 5-10 minutes. Also at night you could hear very noisy groups at times outside on the street. I am not a fan of St Louis as a city. It's unfortunate. Again, this property is well maintained. It's also close to the convention center and the Arch. It's very nice inside. They try to be overly formal in my opinion. And this area of the city did not feel clean or comfortable for me and my 23 year old daugher

Beautiful but weird

Hotel is beautiful, but strange? Dress codes everywhere, definitely not a hotel in the normal sense. Rooms are small, bed was uncomfortable, but it was affordable and the people working there were very nice and helpful.

The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and friendly. The food was outstanding. We do not feel comfortable walking around the downtown St.Louis area.

Lobby was beautiful but room was not

The lobby area was beautiful. It was wonderfully decorated for Christmas and th staff were all friendly and kind. The room itself was as basic as possible. Small and definitely needing some updates. Going from how beautiful the lobby area was and how well taken care of it was to the hotel room being so plain, boring and clearly outdated was disappointing. Especially when the other guests (the athletic club members) had a bad tendency to stair at youa s if you didn't belong there.

For a nice hotel/country club where it was almost like being in the 50s. Certain things not allowed and u can hear everything in every room around u. Bed was loud and hot water barely lasted.

Felt like we was down upon because we was there for the dirt in December, so we wasn’t dressed appropriate. We would loved to had tried the food, but there was no menu in the room and we didn’t want to come be asked to leave.
