Great location. Nice being close to the market place. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed it. The rooms could use a good cleaning and updating. But we had a great time. Food was good at the tavern. Staff was friendly.

It was the perfect place to stay for the sunrise at Mathers Point. The proximity was the initial factor but then the rooms were well kept, fairly modern with nice basics being elevated. Including a keurig with Starbucks options, Neroli body wash, lotion, etc. and what was a nice surprise were the on-premise dining options. The lodge restaurant seems to be a favorite for all tourists and the food is exceptional. I would love to stay here again if I’m visiting the park again!

The inside of the room was clean but exterior halls were dirty, the rooms are located in separate buildings which can be pretty far from the lobby and ice machines didn’t work. When I called about ice I was told I would have to find ice in another building we were in building 4 which was pretty far from the main lobby.

The room was small for the price. It was not clear the difference and location between east and west buildings. I thought it was just a difference between east and west views.

It is about 35 years since I last stayed here. It remains a pleasant, basic lodge. The rooms are clean and well maintained. It is a pleasant walk to the dining facility (good food, nothing fancy, decent selection). The staff are great.

Great location to access food, drinks and the shuttle. Really enjoyed the tavern just a few steps away from the lodge. Ice machine convenient. Lodge made us feel like we were at a Great Wolf Lodge but without the indoor water park.

We loved our stay at Yavapai Lodge. It was clean, quiet and conveniently located within Grand Canyon park. The shuttle is essentially on our doorstep as well as dining and the general store. We would definitely stay again!
