My room wasn't sound proof. We can heard clearly what the guests at the next room were talking on the middle of th night. Reason being most of the walls are wooden partitions and not solid walls. Can heard the sound of closing and opening of curtains coming from next room

A lovely heritage hotel with modern amenities and heritage ambience. A Sarkies brothers hotel, a La The Raffles in Singapore, the Majapahit in Surabaya is sublime.

Overall a great place to stay for given rate

I enjoyed my 3-day stay at JW Marriott Surabaya, staff was super nice. Kiki at Front Desk made my check in super easy and smooth, and Andyta, Putri, Oliv and Bima at lounge made me feel at home, they remembered all my favorite drink and foods. I appreciate their care and attention.

Staffs are amazing. Extremely friendly and very attentive. They made me feel special. The hotel is right on top of a big mall. Very convenient.

This place is impeccable!! I honestly didn’t leave the hotel much during my short stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is so professional and kind, the buffet style breakfast was great, and the gym facilities were really nice to have. There’s a shopping center walking distance and restaurants on the way. I would definitely stay here again!!
