This Days Inn is in a rougher area. There is an issue with soliciting and vagrancy in the parking lot. We didn't feel safe on the premises outside of in our room. The lady at the front desk was so nice and interacting with her was the highlight of our stay. It was also very convenient to be across the street from a Denny's that is open 24 hours. The property is very rough around the edges. The air conditioning and TV in our room didn't work, but it was a plus to have a mini fridge and microwave. The shower took a while to heat, but was a fine experience once it did. We checked out before their free breakfast started. If you were to partake of that, it might make it an okay value. I still wouldn't return here because of the safety concerns even though it's relatively convenient to Syracuse airport (12 minute drive).

The property owner was very rude and unprofessional. When she was informed by my wife of the headboard falling off the wall while we were sitting in bed watching tv she showed no signs of concern, didn't even ask her how she was feeling or if she was even okay. The staff who was working the night this incident happened was caring and showed concern for my wife's wellbeing. We also never received or deposit back either and our checkout was yesterday morning

It is not family friendly

I stayed there 2 nights with my family, and I can say it is not family friendly hotel. If you want to use just for sleeping and if you are alone that fine . Otherwise I’m not recommending this hotel for family staying. And there is a smell in the room.

Very lazy and rude employees. They park in customer handicap spaces . Coffee bar a mess and disarray. Walk off the counter to pertain to personal business. Personal phone calls at the counter area while guest is waiting. Nice place . But needs new employees or training.

They could have had more breakfast options . I went down three times only once did they have eggs , no meats . They rest of the time only waffle mixes . And they were usually close to empty . Syrup was empty on one day .

Nothing but problems from the time we walked in. They wanted a credit card to hold 100.00 deposit, but couldn't figure out how to do that without charging us for the room we already paid to Expedia. Room smelled, TV did not work, very thin sheet and cover, no blankets. I called they said they would bring blankets but never did. In am no regular coffee, just decaf, then wanted oj, and guess what no Orange Juice either. I didn't look at the other breakfast items and just left.

We had an excellent stay! The staff and service were outstanding—friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. The property condition and facilities were spotless and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area around the property was equally impressive—safe, peaceful, and very walkable, with easy access to transportation and plenty of parking. We especially appreciated how quiet and safe the surroundings were, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was convenient and everything was within walking distance, including shopping and dining options. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-rounded and pleasant stay!
