For the price, the location is great. Family mart and police station just next to the hotel. The famous Miyagi Ice-cream place is just 1min away. Room was on top floor, newly revamped but can improve a little on the design and usability. No wardrobe thus no iron, no bathrobe, only a simple coat hanger. very tight shower with no place to put your toiletries. toilet is good with electronic bidet but both cubicles are just smoked screened so privacy is a concern for non-couples. Table is on the floor with a big mat, and a single arm chair with leg rest at the corner. King size bed is huge. Doesn't provide extra pillows.

Beautiful property just minutes from Taichung Railway station. Room was well furnished and staff were welcoming. They have a free laundry room for guests which is really handy. Right across from Miyahara for all your ice-cream and dessert needs. Plenty of food options within a walking distance.

A Good Hotel in Taichung

Located in the enter of old Taichung city close to the main train station. Good restaurants and confectioneries are within walking distance. Room is spacious, and the king bed is way bigger than its counterpart you see in America.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Refund Request Dear Expedia / 53 Hotel Name, On our second day, the air-conditioning in our room was not working. Despite our request for a room change, we were only provided with a fan. As the situation was unacceptable, we decided to check out early. When we asked for a refund, we were told we must go through Expedia, and the staff’s response was extremely rude. This experience left me very disappointed with both the hotel and Expedia’s service. Due to this incident, I will not consider using Expedia for my future bookings unless the matter is resolved promptly. I request a full refund for the unused nights of our stay. Kindly respond to this matter urgently.

Location is very convenient 10 minutes walk from the train station. Room was clean and spacious. The shower door was slightly rusted and the chaulking had mold. If the shower door was replaced, the room would have been perfect.

Pros: The hotel is across from Taichung station. It’s clean, very quiet and spacious. Lots of places to eat nearby. Free 24 hour laundry service. The bed was very comfortable. Cons: No hand soap and no places to hang clothes in the bathroom.
