Surprises!

First off, very high deposit required, higher than room rate. Second, my room was not cleaned but they did give me another one within10 minutes. Overall, despite the poor start its a good value for that location near Sherway Mall in Toronto.

Housekeeping left our door open while we were out for the day so theres that for safety and privacy. Sheets had hair in them when we got to the room. TV backlight was broken and it was midly inconvenient to watch. But theres a Tim Horton right next to the Inn...would not stay here again.

We didn't sleep at the hotel and asked for refund. When we arrive, they gave us a occupied room. The second room they gave us was not even clean.

Stayed one night as we were in the City for a concert. After booking the reservation (requesting a ground floor room), I called to confirm they were able to give us a ground floor room. The lady I spoke to said it was fine but would be double beds instead of queen. We were ok with this. When we checked in, there seemed to be an issue with this. The guy at the counter eventually gave us the ground floor room "this time". Made me feel like I'd done something wrong even though I was told there would be no issues. The room was clean. We had to plug in the one lamp & TV as for some reason they were unplugged. Location is very close to the Gardiner, so there was some traffic noise. Getting in/out of their parking lot is also somewhat complicated. For what we paid, it served it's purpose.

Stayed here for one night due to need to be with family member having surgery at the Queensway hospital close by. The staff and the cleanliness of the rooms at this property are great. The proximity to the QEW/427 right behind is both a advantage for transport but can also be a huge noise issue; staff were accommodating in moving me to a quieter room nearer the front. Due to this being a value for money motel, some of the other clientele at the place seemed kinda shady.
