Good clean room, but the walls were thin. Cleaning staff started work before 9 am and you could hear everything. Also pigeons live on the window AC units and they were loud at night.

The rooms are renovated and fine. Slept well. It’s an older place so you hear some hallway noise. The hallways in general ( carpet) and check in area need a refresh.

I was a little leery of the surrounding area. Immediately around the hotel wasn't bad, but walking towards the St. Lawrence Market was a little sketch. However, the hotel itself is very nice. Clean. The staff went above and beyond. We weren't able to book a queen room all 5 nights of our stay in Toronto, so we booked 1 night queen, the other 4 nights double. They moved our bags for us from the queen to the double when the new room was ready. The location was okay. Helped me get my steps in each day. Most of all I liked the staff. So very friendly and I felt safe with them always being at the front desk.

This hotel may not be in the glitziest part of Toronto, and it offers basic, minimalistic amenities (basically just soap, shampoo and conditioner), but the room was clean and the queen bed was super comfy. The people at the front desk are exceptionally nice.

It's great for the cost. It's also walking distance to downtown or almost any form of transportation. The area around it is a bit sketchy with homeless people, but I would stay again.

I had a comfortable stay at Pembroke Inn. Central location in downtown Toronto at a very reasonable price. Fresh brewed coffee every morning with real creme and milk is a bonus. Front desk is friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again!!
