The good and the not so good.

The grounds and view were absolutely beautiful! Burger, and brew night was a pleasant surprise. The owner was a bit grouchy and insulting. I guess it’s his MO. Dinner in the restaurant was OK. The vegetable lasagna and shrimp Caesar salad were good. The eggplant rollatini should be taken off the menu as it was a pile of noodles and tomato sauce. It was taken off our bill. Breakfast was good.

Location is excellent if you want nearby hiking and a nice quiet place out of the way. Rooms were nice and a decent value for the price. Service was good.

Unit was clean. Building had only 3 Units so it was quiet. Had refrigerator and microwave. Spa tub with separate shower and proper highth toilet. Desk was unstable. Joints loose unusable. Bed sheets were scratchy. 2 thermastates in room one was broken. Pedestal sink was covered in stress marks. Spa tub was uncomfortable to sit in with not slanting end. The restaurant was closed. The dining room had spiderwebs hanging in window sills. Cost of unit did not compare to what we received in services. Therefore price was too high.

Although a beautiful property, they did not serve lunch or dinner on two of the nights we were there and there were no restaurants open other than going to Ithaca (Monday and Tuesday). They did have a continental breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn. We were there to pick up our daughter from Ithaca College which was a short drive away. Even though we arrived late, someone waited for us at the front desk. We would love to return.

Das Anwesen liegt wunderschön am See und man kann direkt neben dem Anwesen zum Wasserfall laufen. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und wunderbarem Seeblick, es gibt ein gutes Frühstück im Haupthaus, die Lage der Unterkunft ist ruhig, es war alles sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

We stayed this Inn the end of April. Staff is kind enough to provide list of restaurant nearby very proactively since hotel restaurant is still closed. When we chekced in, room was warmed enough. This consideration was impressive after a long day outide when it was still a bit cold. Amenities is great especially we appreciated microwave. Only disappointing experience was that wi-fi was not available which is indispensable nowadays. Overall, my stay experience was awsome and I really want to come back here soon hopefully spending more time at the hotel.

Was looking to do a B&B but found the Inn as a preferred option. Convenient to the Falls’ trail. Provided great service and a really nice room. Stayed in the Lakeview building of 10 rooms. Quality bedding and fridge, microwave, coffee maker, bottled water included. Daily “elevated” continental breakfast including eggs, sausage and potatoes. Wish it were warmer so as to sit out on the patio and view the lake. Will return.

Our stay was well above our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Surrounded by the 800 acre state park and bordering Cayuga Lake made for a magical experience. Did I mention the short and easy hike to the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi ? It was an awesome stay!0
