Everybody was very helpful and the restaurant staff ina particular. Pool bar staff were great but your system was inefficient. One person serving and making every drink, ice cream, coffee etc while the other person walked around the back of the bar preparing for the next shift caused long queues. You should have one person taking orders and one person making the orders and you will sell more stuff. I saw two people leaving the line without buying

First visit and quite impressed. Plenty to do and although some classes are not included in the price, it's good that there are activities you can join for no charge. Takes a while to get to know the layout and work out the quickest route from place to place. Unfortunately the only garden area that was not beautifully planted was the one that we overlooked from our balcony! The eco-garden is a great idea. Staff were smiley and helpful. It's all very spacious and open. Nothing is crowded. We look forward to another visit!

This was our second stay

We enjoyed our first visit last year. It was just as lovely this time. Do as much excercise as you like or just lay by the pool or hit the beach. It has a reasonable bus service into the local town of Gran Tarajal. We've already decided to return next year.

Playitas remains an excellent choice for a sporty family. It is not super expensive, the service is good and the food and facilities are great. It seems prices are rising slightly but it remains worth it.

Overrated, Outdated and Overpriced

Extremely disappointing, The resort is outdated, overrated and overpriced. For almost every activity you have to pay extra. The tennis courts are in a terrible state, the TV in the room must be 15+y old, the gym equipment is very old... There is no atmosphere in the resort either and in the evening it's a very boring place to be. Avoid!

Don't go unless you want the sports

The resort is suited to sporty types. On the side of the beach which is ok. The staff can be unpleasant. The breakfast is good but the experience is like a school dinner hall with children running about and spilling food on floor. ️Cutterly and crockery still dirty after washing. Checkout was at 11 and at 3 minutes past reception called and said we had to leave now because the cleaner was waiting. 2 minutes later the cleaner came and opened the door and just stood there. Service was terrible. If you are not going for the sports, don't go. That is their priority and you feel it is

Spotless resort, amazing sports facilities

Rooms large. Rooms and rest of resort spotlessly clean. Sports booking easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Sports facilities very impressive. We are masters swimmers and the Olympic pool was great for training. Bike rental was easy and the riding was great. You could do aerobics, yoga and other classes from dawn to dusk if that's your thing. The village of Las Playitas has some lovely local restaurants, try them all! If you want to exercise or continue training whilst on holiday, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Sporty

Fantastic, very clean and comfortable. Food fantastic. Whether a fitness freak or on holiday for relaxation. Nothing beyond the complex but we like that as it feels safe to let the children have independence and everything you need is there.

Sports holiday

More information prior to holiday would have been helpful. All activities except the gym and some classes cost extra and had to be booked in advance. All restaurants on site required long trousers & proper shoes - which we hadn't taken! Apartment & pools very nice. Staff all exceptionally friendly & helpful. Just not as good as the No 1 sports resort, sadly.

Die erste Woche war traumhaft. In der 2ten und 3ten Woche wurde unser Gebäudekomplex mit pubertierenden Schulkinder aufgefüllt und die Ruhe war vorbei!! Deshalb würden wir da nicht wieder buchen.Alles andere war gut.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gut für Familien und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten. Unsere Unterkunftswünsche und sonstige Wünsche für unsere Tochter wurden allesamt erfüllt ohne zusätzliche Kosten. Die Apartments sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen dennoch sind sie sehr sauber und ist gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolutes Highlight von der Anlage ist neben dem Sportangebot auch das Essen. Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder.
