The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a bit tired for Choice Hotels. The pet charge is relatively high for the cost of the room.

My room smelled like it hadn't been used in a while, a musty smell, the smell of stale cigarettes and old people. another guest did nothing but slam the doors at 1030pm for about an hour up and down the hall. When I arrived at check in after travelling all day, instead of my lic i grabbed my debit card and Amex card, in which the guy noticed and he asked me which to charge and I said the amex card as I then had my debit card in my hand. I paid and signed the pad using the Amex card, when I woke up they charged both cards. With the lack of sleep I woke up got dressed and didn't even want to shower there. I informed the lady at the desk about being double charged, and she acted like it was my fault and an inconvenience she had to void it and never said sorry just walked away. I booked it because it was close to Utica university where my son goes, Ill pay 500 a night to stay elsewhere for one night. I won't ever go back.

The hotel is fine for the price. There is a nice amount of grassy area if you're staying with a dog, which is convenient. The staff was friendly and the location is good.

The menu is quite limited. The location is good — it’s very quiet. The staff is very friendly, although they won’t clean your room unless you ask them to.

The location of the hotel was good. close to downtown area and shopping centers. Large parking lot. Lobby area has been updated and it was bright and clean. Staff were all pleasant. Continental breakfast was good, basic options plus a waffle maker. The room itself was awkward. The bathroom was very small and I did not like that the sink was outside of the bathroom next to the room door. The bath was outdated and some mildew or mold on tub and in corners on the floor. Some stains noted on the floor. I did not like that the bed frame was an enclosed piece of hallow sounding metal, it was loud when you accidentally bumped it with your legs/feet. The mattresses were not good, but not terrible. Pillows were good. It was also quite pricey for the weekend, comparable prices to far nicer hotels. Overall fine if you could get a decent price on the room and looking to save money

Everything was great, especially the staff. A bit old and could use a bit of an update, but very clean and comfortable for the price. The breakfast was not so great, but there was toast and yogurt which were fine. I would stay again

The place is fine overall, but - for what you get - the prices in hotels like this charge are kind of ridiculous. The breakfast is about as bare bones as you get, as is the staff. I know the reason why.... the big international companies that own and operate these places don't have a personal investment in such places, so guests are left with the bare minimum. If you want a hotel that's notably GOOD, you're going to have to shell out $250 a night, or more.

Not bad for a quick stay.

Hotel itself was very clean. The gentleman who worked the front desk both times I checked in, I was here two weekends in a row, should not be allowed to interact with people. The lady the morning I checked out was very friendly. The gentleman is argumentative and not helpful, and just downright rude.
