A disappointed experience and been wanting to see try the hotel for awhile as an option to another hotel I stay at when I'm in the Utica area just so I had more than one option if my hotel was booked up. This definitely won't be the hotel because I don't like surprises when I'm checking in.

Staff was very helpful. The property was older, but so is the whole town. Maybe not the best looking place from outside, but it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beds were like college beds - metal frames / bed slat and metal skirts around bottom of bed. If you accidentally licked he bottom of the bed frame, it was one heck of a metal bang. Front desk man was rude. Had Housekeeping on first day and nothing after that. When I asked about the housekeeping, I was told it needed to be requested. Had to ask for fresh towels and washcloths. Was given fresh towels but he could only find one clean washcloth. Told me to either use that (for three adults) or come back down early in the morning for the additional two. When we arrived the first night in our room, there was an empty Dorito bag in one of the drawers. Also, they had same items for breakfast all three days. Usually when I stay at motels they at least change the menu every other day. Would not recommend this place.

Adequate for the price.

Room was clean. Did get the handicap accessible room that came with a larger bathroom, but no walk in shower, still had to step into a tub and the toilet height was standard. Sink was not a Vanity style so very difficult to put on cosmetics in the morning. Breakfast was unappealing so went to a local diner. Since it was just an overnight stay it was fine.

Surprised and not in a good way

This property is very run down. The couch in the sitting area looks like they picked it up on the curb somewhere. Too dirty to sit on. Bed was on a metal base (possibly to keep bed bugs off?). It made loud noise every time you rolled over. Last minute place to stay on our trip back home.

The facility was easy to find, teh desk clerk was very helpful , the room was clean and we had a restful nice. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again, if ever in the area again. The price was very reasonable..
