Great place

Super great place. Only thing that marred the trip was the vinyl couch/ daybed. It was off gasing as PVC will. Some like a “new car smell” but I hate inhaling PVC. Asked if a room without a vinyl couch was available. Was told not. BUT they accommodated us with sheets to cover it which controlled the smell. Otherwise totally great AND HUGE TUB.

The staff at Hotel Mary were fantastic. No issues with language barriers and made us feel welcome. Would visit again. The one thing to be mindful of are the thin walls between hotel room walls. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Mary for 4 nights. The staff were great and the hotel is perched on the edge of a hill giving scenic views of the Napoli coast. It’s conveniently located for Pompeii, amalfi coast and sorento at half the price for visiting those places. The restaurant manager is very enthusiastic and makes you feel very welcomed like an honoured guest. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Dining options around the area is great with most plates starting at €15 euros for one course. The rooms are spacious and very clean. One thing we did not like was that the walls had poor sound insulation and you could hear what was going on in other rooms and corridor. The cleaning staff were great and did a fine job but they start around 7am and it gets very noisy from them on. Also we were disappointed that use of the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, were not included as normal. There is an extra charge for this. It was €25/hour each which is not trivial fee to pay. for us as we could not use the beach as it was too cold and could not use the hotel pool because it is outdoor and cold, we would have loved to use the spa. €5 a day would have worked well and I think they would get more patronage of the spa facility.

First Class service! Restaurant is amazing. A little noisy with fridge, bathrooom fan, shaking rattling door and dogs outside hotel barking non stop all morning.
