Our stay was deeply disappointing, forcing us to leave after one night despite paying for three. The room was dirty, with black hairs in the bathroom, stained sheets, dirty spare pillows without cases, cobwebs, spiders, and filthy carpets. Surfaces were unclean, turning wipes black. Safety was poor: broken bathroom tiles cut our feet, walls were damaged, lighting was dim and dusty, and windows couldn’t be safely opened. Service was inadequate—our room wasn’t ready at check-in, the TV remote never worked, and promised pillowcases never arrived. The hotel environment was equally unpleasant: hallways smelled of damp and cannabis, loud music played past midnight, and carpets throughout were stained. Parking was unsafe, with blocked access forcing us to park out of sight. Overall, we felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and unable to relax. These combined issues reflect unacceptable standards of cleanliness, maintenance, service, and guest care.

The staff were friendly and helpful Great Price for a night's stay. Breakfast was good. The room could do with a bit of airing out but it was ok. Fairly local to where I needed to get to in the morning. It's located in a nice area.

Really nice Room

Really nice quant hotel. Well presented room. Only drawback was trying to navigate the shower temperature.

Not Recommended

Only stayed 1 night and the shower wasnt working. It took more than 2 hrs to get someone to look at the shower which couldnt be fixed and we had 3 hrs to check out. Offered us another room which werent any better but had to shift everything to the next room which delayed our plans. The lift wasnt working which meant carrying massive luggages to the 3rd floor.

The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfy and I had a really good nights sleep. It was great having a lounge area, as we were a large family attending an event, but this had not been properly cleaned for a long time. Some cushions were missing and when we took a cushion off to look for a childs toy it was disgustingly dirty. Stairs looked like they had not been hoovered for a while and the whole place was very dated and felt unkept. The hallway carpets were dirty with stains, they were a light beige so not really suitable for a hotel as they showed all the marks On entering there was 2 at reception, 1 in training, they did not smile or even get up from their seat to welcome. 1 was in a tatty old T shirt more suited for a car repair garage. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on this aspect. It was offered. The hotel was opposite a Lidl which was very handy.

Outside needs attention as in first impressions not great weeds and broken plant pot with weeds in not flowers wouldn’t take much time to make a better first impression. Hall and stairs need hoovering . But plenty of positives Staff very helpful, breakfast option good , room and bedding clean, lovely towels, complimentary toiletries smell lovely, plenty of tea and coffee, TV easy to use, price of stay great very good value for money, bus stop outside hotel we will be staying again thanks for nice stay.

I never seen any bad service like this hotel I was asking them give me atowel on the phone They said they will bring it then I wait 10 minutes they didn’t bring after that I went downstairs myself the staff said they will bring it to me I wait 15 minute they didn’t then i called them again on the phone they i told them it’s urgent please bring me a towel they said 1 minute but unfortunately i waited 30 minutes they didn’t turn up at the end I leave the hotel without shower I had a very bad experience with this hotel

Good location and had no issue with overworked receptionist who was polite and friendly, but was overwhelmed and had no back up to resolve problems with issuing key card to access our room when computer system was down. Said she had tried to contact other staff who were not responding. Finally got in a different room 2 hours after first tried to check in. Thin walls, very noisy, unpleasant guest in nearby room shouting and swearing during night woke and frightened young daughter, loud snoring and another group having loud conversations later between 3-4 am meant disturbed sleep. Have stayed here before and had better experience.

My van got nicked of the car park. Night porter disturbed them trying to nick another vehicle and had a large knife pulled on him. Staff were excellant. But hotel needs updating and definitely full coverage off cctv as there was only 1 camera on the front of hotel.
