From the photos, this place looks nice but between the lack of a welcome entering the door, spotty interenet access, and limited 24-hour service, this was a poor experience overall.
Upon my arrival, I entered the room, connected all devices to the internet, and within 3-5 minutes, the internet went out and was intermittent the rest of my stay. Checked the tv to ensure it was not an issue with my desvices and all I received was a grey screen that there was no internet connected to the television. They sent up engineering to support, and he did the best he could, but the lack of quality internet was the issue. When I contacted the front desk to voice my concern, she was not helpful and provided no alternative solutions for the issue. Not only that, the TV only provided local channels, and each app that was provided could only be used with your personal accounts.
I took ill the last day in my stay, and contacted the 24-hour room service for tea...there was NO TEA available. There was something at every corner, the parking was $45 daily and a1-way. The process to get a pass was also antiquated and such an inconvenience.
I originally stayed at the DuPont Circle Hotel and it was such an amazing experience, but it was booked the entire week for my stay. Glover Park proved to be closer in radius compared to others, and the website showed potential. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling for business or pleasure. It was not ideal.
