First, the entire staff was friendly and helpful! They made us feel welcome. The location is top notch. The metro station is across the street, making it super efficient and easy to get anywhere in DC once you get the hang of it! The area is safe and tourist friendly with lots of reasonable restaurant choices. There is a Harris Teeter grocery store about 6 blocks away, a liquor store and fun sports bars nearby. A couple blocks down is the National's ballpark and the waterfront (try Salt Line!). The breakfast is better than average and saves you easily $15 each day per person. I also loaded up on snacks like apples, bananas, and granola bars for our day pack. They had a nice free Wednesday happy hour party with snacks and beer/wine. We enjoyed the beautiful roof top patio area. The swimming pool is small, but the fitness room was top notch. Our room was clean and quiet. The linens and pillows are good quality and fresh. Our shower had amazing water pressure (we travel frequently and this can be an issue in busy buildings). The kitchen, while small, was stocked with basics...dishes, silverware, pots/pans, dish soap, paper towels and coffee.

Great staff especially Deborah at front desk and ladies that worked at night n Technician who had to come to my room four times to turn on the power cause it would go off and then the last night we’re trying to watch the Stanley Cup hockey game and for the whole game the TV just had lines in it and they couldn’t fix it!

I had to check-in after midnight and the process was time consuming, requiring 20 minutes phone call and filling out forms. Breakfast was dismal, and I had to pay 2 full days for valley parking for staying 14 hours. Stay outside of Washington and take Uber into the city. This will save you money and time.

Really nice property! Very close to the Washington Nationals ballpark and a Metro station just across the street. Be aware that rooms that face M Street, especially those close to Half Street, will hear the evening music from the The Bullpen outdoor sports bar/live entertainment venue seasonally. It was generally over with by 10p. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Property and room very clean and well-maintained. Nice kitchen area in our room with full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet except for as noted. Breakfast buffet was very nice, offering the typical hot and cold options and very large seating area. Rooftop lounge area really nice place to hang out as well. Highly recommend!
