From the moment I checked in my entire stay was wonderful. Hotel staff knew it was my birthday week and had a cheese/fruit platter waiting in my room. They checked in to see if anything was needed and accommodated me with photo shoot of beautiful ocean. Can't wait to visit again!!!!!

The outdoor pool was winterized so Ignore that rating. I usually give The Hilton 5 stars and I return every year, but I may not stay there again. The issues I had this visit are as follows: I was charged $10 per night for parking. Street parking a few steps further is free. Had I known, I would have parked in the street. I was never charged for parking before. Two jets on the spa tub were broken. There were no napkins or paper towels in the room. Not even in the coffee caddy. And when I ordered room service, they didn't bring napkins or flatware. This room had a kitchen so I used the flatware from the room, washed and replaced everything myself. All the rooms I rented from The Hilton before had nice robes in the closet to use after the spa tub. This time there were no robes, but that could have been overlooked by the cleaning staff.

Staff was excellent, but i was very disappointed in the money grab tactics that are now being imposed. Charging for parking and no longer giving out complimentary water seems like something a lesser quality hotel would do. it seems beneath the standards of hilton and so for that i would rather just go to the holiday inn down the street thats way cheaper. I Paid for Hilton i was expecting Hilton not the same thing as everyone else.
