First, I hate that I even have to do this, but this was flipping ridiculous. This was by far one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve experienced. I traveled from Colorado to Illinois for work. I would leave early and come back after 6PM. First off upon arrival there were roaches in my room and hair in the tub. Not the tub drain but all over the tub, the room was not clean when I arrived and my entire 2 week stay my bedding was not changed out once, the room itself was only cleaned 2Xs but only after I asked multiple times. the front desk concierge was rude and unfriendly. She smoked pot at work. I could care less about that but there’s a time and a place and work is not it, you wouldn’t drink on the job. I had to constantly ask for towels and was told I could only request towels Mon-Fri, 7-3PM and I had to bring them down to the front desk myself and wait so they could wash them and return the same ones to me stating they didn’t have extra.

This is not a 2.5-star hotel. Please stay away! Unsafe with police on premises every day, arresting people who live there full-time. Very sketchy clientele, the receptionist is rude and rarely in the reception area. The hallways are stained and dirty, the place is run-down, and pieces of clothing were lying on the grass and bushes, holes in window screens, dust on door frames..... You name it. The room was so dirty, and the smell in the room was just horrible. It smelled like something died in there. The toilet kept clogging, and the receptionist gave us a broken plunger, told us to fix it since "we broke it". My argument that I'm a paying guest did not convince her. She told us they have no maintenance or cleaning staff. We booked this place for 6 nights, but left after 2, no refund. We tried to get a refund for 2 days, our booking agent called the manager multiple times, but she refused and said that we can come talk to her and she'll change our room. She never even knocked on our door to try to resolve this, and every time we looked for her, she was nowhere to be found. There is also no night manager. The receptionist spent her evenings in the parking lot, hanging out with friends. Stay away. Pay a bit more and stay in an actual hotel. After just 2 days in the room, we had to wash all our clothes twice, even though we kept them in a closed suitcase, and they still smelled. Expedia needs to do better in vetting places it advertises on its site. I hold them responsible.

Non raccomando assolutamente a nessuno di pernottate in questa struttura. Io e mio marito ci siamo fermati per una notte prima di partire in trasferta, quando siamo arrivati, alla reception non c’era nessuno. Abbiamo provato a chiamare a voce qualcuno, senza successo. Abbiamo usato il telefono per chiamare e finalmente dopo 10 minuti e’ arrivata la signora addetta alla reception. Non ci ha salutati, non ci ha dato il benvenuto, nulla!!!!! Con la faccia stufata ci ha chiesto il documento d’identità e successivamente ci ha dato la chiave senza dire dove dobbiamo andare per trovare la nostra stanza. Siamo rimasti scioccati da questo comportamento, perche’ per 100$ sentirsi trattati come dell’immondizia non e’ proprio cio’ che volevamo. Se vi volete rovinare l’umore e’ il posto ideale. Oltre all’indifferenza alla reception, quando siamo entrati nella nostra stanza c’era una puzza incredibile di qualcosa di marcio, il frigorifero faceva un rumore che facevamo fatica dí addormentarsi, l’aria condizionata anche faceva rumore ed era impossibile trovare la temperatura ideale, perche’ o faceva troppo freddo, o troppo caldo. Inoltre, non e’ un posto sicuro o accogliente per le famiglie, oppure per le ragazze che viaggiano da sole.

My 3 days of reservation was a complete waste. I had my son (5 years old) and my spouse travelling with me. I booked the hotel after checking on expedia website for late checkin. It clearly says checkin end time "Anytime" when i called the hotel around 7PM on my checkin date to inform about late checkin i was shocked to know that after 2AM my booking will be cancelled as "No Show" and the doors wont be open. Staff was very rude on the call.My flight to ORD was delay so i landed at 2:30AM. I had no other way. Expedia did not help me even after talking to them for almost an hour. I had to search for a day which was available far away. No refund was provided as well. Wrost experience - Never rely on expedia details and will never book mainstay anymore.

I did not like that i had heavy luggage and the elevator was out of service and the only way up was the stairs. Carpets where all dirty and with stains and bad smell. Room service only from 7am to 3pm if you need towels or bed sheets they wont give you clean one's. No breakfast included 😢.
