I think I would like this resort. The room was nice and the view was good. However, I think it had a bad day. We could hear our neighbors and their TV clear as day. Our TVservice didn't work. We couldn't get any local or cable channels. And the worst part is, we had no hot water. It is awful to start your day with a cold shower, when it's twenty degrees outside. Also, only one person working the front desk on a busy weekend.

Overall good experience. The Warerfront restaurant situation though was a disaster. The hostesses were super overwhelmed. Don’t know why. Not crowded and waited for nearly 45 minutes just to have a table cleaned off but there were several open tables available. We were seated and orders taken but it took over a 1/2 an hour just to get our soft drinks and a Leinenkeugel beer, but before we got them, the waiter came over to ask what our drink order was because he forgot what he wrote down. We waited another half an hour for our food. Fish & chips was good. The BLTwas not. Tasted like liquid smoke was brushed on the bacon. Gross! Room was cute but wallpaper was peeling from the walls and shades on windows were beat up.

the hotel is beautiful, clean! The room was very nice, clean all the time!! About Avani, there was always something, it was very cold in the pool area, the coffee machine only worked for a few hours and broke, the last 2 times I was at Avani the coffee machine didn't work :((( I have nothing to complain about the staff, they always clean, bring clean towels, or collect wet towels, they are very nice!!!

I used to love staying on this hotel but this vacations was really bad first day of my stay the pool was closed because someone popped on it then all the kids were on the jacuzzi playing with the balls that were on the pool then i went to the front desk to talk to them about this then the receptionist was really rude and he told me that the they sent and email to let everybody know but I didn’t get one then i told hime he can check if they sent me a n email he realized that my name wasn’t in the list then he apologized too late! well that pass next day i went to the pool again but i didn’t went in to the pool i stayed in the jacuzzi then a big guy jumped in to the pool i think he hit the ground or something he came out with his arm bleeding he didn’t notice and came in to the jacuzzi soo bad experience never going back they have staff to watch but they were inside the office talking to each other instead of watching the pool.
