The staff were very nice and the the hotel was very clean and neat. We also loved the location and the hot springs bath experience. Super easy to walk to from the Enoshima Katase train.
Hotel facilities and onset were decent. Hotel lobby is located inside a different building, and it was difficult to get help inside our building. There was a bad smell in the first room we were given, but the staff were kind to change our room. Unfortunately, we were not given an option to purchase breakfast, and there is no food on the island in the morning. Loud noises from vehicles at night and early morning.
Nice area with plenty of sights. Dining options and convenience stores aren’t on the island, about 10 minute walk away. Hotel spa and pools and onsen looked amazing but tattooed people are not allowed in so we couldn’t check it out. Overall a good spot, but be aware of limitations
If looking for a beach holiday in Japan, I would recommend Enoshima Island and Enoshima Hotel. We came here for a lazy time after 2 weeks travelling. I was a bit dubious as there weren’t many reviews, but our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay and use of the numerous pools. There’s a bus that can take you from Enoshima Station, otherwise it’s an easy flat 15 min walk. Lots of tourist sites close by to see as well as swimming, jet skis, sailing and stand up paddling. Surfing also an option but the waves aren’t great. Spacious rooms for a Japanese hotel, and nice bathroom. Would recommend the hotel for a solo female traveller.
Parking is across the street. That was a little confusing and the main hotel is separate from the lodging; 2 minute walk. Check in first at main building
