The room was clean and the staff were great, our original room smelled of cigarette smoke but they were quick to upgrade us at no additional charge (The new room was much less smelly but still vaguely smelled like cigarettes too). We felt a bit like we got catfished with our booking. The photos online were outdated and the room was much older looking than we expected. The hotel as a whole was outdated. The breakfast was continental and consisted of coffee, cereal and muffins as they had run out of premade omelettes. If we stay in Williams lake again we will probably try somewhere else. The staff really were the main (only) highlight of our stay, and maybe the room cleanliness.

Quick & efficient checkin. Problematic TV. No elevator for the 3 floors. Very limited selection for breakfast foods. Noisy. Sounds overhead & from nearby rooms. Clean room & reasonably comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. I appreciated that the mini fridge had a functioning freezer compartment. Useful to refreeze ice packs for my cooler.!

What especially impressed me was how happily the staff seemed to work together as a team, how they genuinely enjoyed each other's company at work, & of course, how welcoming & helpful they were to us, their guests! We had a great stay here. It is one of our go-to options on highway 97. They were very easy going about our small dog and when I accidentally left a small but very important item in my room they found it and mailed it to my house right away. Great very helpful staff!
