What the website and hotel offered was an accessible room, what we got that was a room not as described by the website, the photos depicted large open room of high quality and what we were given was a dinghy room in desperate need of cleaning and refurbishing.
Staff are always polite well mannered have there hotel clothing on hotel room was clean and spacish as per usual breakfast was nice would always change the tomato for mushrooms other than that 5 or a 5 star for the price you pay 5th stay this year and will continue to use when in Aberdeen area thank you regards Brian
The hotel was very rundown and shabby. I was put into a disabled access room. The bathroom wasn’t clean when I arrived and the light switch was broken, meaning I couldn’t turn the light or fan off during my entire stay. Apparently, this is good “because the floor gets very wet in that room because of the open shower.” Between the bathroom light and the bright green exit sign right above the inside of my door, I got a terrible night’s sleep after a very long day of travel. Thankfully, I was only there for one night before moving on. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Don’t Get A Chapel Street Side Room
The arrangement at front door means when it rains you have to run through a waterfall.
Room very hot, opening windows means noise from Taxi rank till 3:30 in the morning followed by seagulls seagulling from 04:30
Bar not stocked very well. Tennants lager ran out after 2 nights, whisky choice very poor and no lemonade after first night. Housekeeping were pestering us to leave at 10.10 am. But emails stated quite clearly check out was at 11 am
Really great hotel stay. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Great location. Great room. Clean. All the amenities you need. Daily housekeeping. Great breakfast. Very busy at breakfast but managed to get all we wanted. Only downside was no decent fruit. Fruit bowl things mouldy. Apart from that a top stay. Would use again.
