The people working reception were friendly and helpful. The room was good for a small, economical room in Amsterdam. If you have no experience staying in small rooms where you do not have ample room for large check in luggage etc, you may be surprised. The room was overall clean, but the shower drain had not been cleaned in quite a while, so I had to do it myself to prevent standing in water while showering. The location is very convenient and close to the tram and tourist sites.

We booked this hotel as it looked nice and was a very reasonable price for the area it was in. It’s located opposite the Rijksmuseum and for the night was cheaper than some hostels in Amsterdam. Our room was on the lower ground floor and was a small, yet clean and well built space-which was all we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was perfect and the room itself was well looked after. The digital key system was very clever and felt secure, although I did worry what might happen if my phone battery ran out when I was out and about when no one was at reception. Luckily it wasn’t an issue! The only two things I could pick a fault with was the very steep steps to the floor, although there was a lift, it seemed inconvenient to get in the lift to go down one floor so it wasn’t really a problem. The other was that the room itself with being below ground had no windows. Again, this was fine for our stay, but had we stayed a little bit longer it might have bothered us. All in all we were really happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend!

Great stay! Everything is conveniently located and within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and our room was nice and clean. We also had the best sleep ever on the bed! Would recommend!

Very hospitable and easy to check in and out. Rooms are a little small so if you travel heavy with lots of luggage this isn’t the one for you but if you’re a light packer then you’ve found the dream.

Great location - very close to Paradiso and we could see the Rijksmuseum from our window. The hotel itself was in an old tenement style building which i thought was cool. Our room was a small attic room which was clean and comfortable. The window didnt open, but there was air con.

Enjoyed the Fritz!

Hotel is perfect location in the heart of the city. Very narrow staircases, but there is an elevator. You need to check in at the Mina Cafe which is attached to the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Very close to museums, bus access and canal cruises. Room was clean with some dust visible. The hotel has been renovated and has very modern showers with soft water which is very nice. The water is filtered and great for drinking. Rooms have AC/heat and windows cannot be opened. It has a tiny fridge. There is no free or cheap parking nearby. We found a parking garage a 1/4 mile away at €55 for 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer, but they book fast! Highly recommend.

This was a lovely building with its own cafe next door, very accessible to all the amenities. All within a strolling walk of everywhere and tram stop right outside. Hotel very clean and lovely en-suite, the only drawback with the inside room as ours was called, is there’s no hanging space or drawers for clothes. Maybe just a rail put on the wall would have helped. But otherwise lovely. And they even decorated our room for our birthdays.

I had a single room. The room was small but manageable for 2 nights. Bit of an issue getting around the bed and banged my legs on more than one occasion. My room was right next to the lift so was woken up various times because of this. There was also no natural light and the lighting was very dim so very difficult to see things. In a good note, there was everything you needed in the room and it was in an excellent location for museums and restaurants.

Fairly nice hotel but service is poor because there is nobody there between 6 PM and 8 AM. We were told to scan a QR code if we had any issues and then you message someone using Whatsapp but there was no response from anyone to help when our power went out in the evening, we had to wait until the next morning. Actually the person in the morning told me that they cant really help with anything anyway.

This hotels proximity to everything. It felt very central. Check in was a breeze. The bed was comfortable and quiet. We looked out our windows at the street view below. If you are a coffee drinker they have more pods for sale at reception. The hotel is attached to a sweet cafe with espresso and snacks, light meal. Super friendly staff that are so helpful making your stay as memorable as possible. Downside was a sewer smell from the bathroom. Just keep the door closed. Also it’s not wheelchair accessible but they have a lift.
