We stayed at the Howard Johnson this past Friday and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made check‑in incredibly smooth. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious — exactly what we needed after a long day. We’ve stayed at many of the neighboring hotels over the years, and this one easily rises to the top of our list. The property is well‑maintained, feels safe, and has thoughtful touches that make the stay feel genuinely cared for. One of the biggest highlights is the location. The proximity to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure is unbeatable — our walk from the hotel to the park gates was only about eight minutes door to door. It made getting in and out of the parks incredibly convenient and stress‑free. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway, and we’ll absolutely be returning the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

The room was very outdated, the bathtub sounded like it was crunching every time you stepped in it the water stay clogged up, so your ankles were submerged with your film from your shower. The room smelled mildew very small would rather pay the extra $50-$100 for a better hotel. Hard to turn the shower nozzle off and on. Bathroom was way too tight and small. Staff was very friendly. That was the best part. Other than that it needs some major remodeling and TV entertainment choices TV was outdated Wi-Fi was horrible. Our room had a small TV compared to others. Bedskirt had stains on it. Pillows were very uncomfortable.
