The room was spacious and clean, the staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed the proximity to the parks without feeling like we were on top of Harbour Blvd in a parking lot. Some of the other hotels definitely feel that way but not the HoJo! It felt like a nice retreat away from the parks. We will definitely stay here again

Great place. Haven’t stayed here since 1985. They have done an amazing job of updating the hotel. Staff very friendly. I was concerned with freeway noise since we were close to the freeway. But we couldn’t hear anything. Beds are very comfortable too. Yes I will be staying here again.

It was annoying to have a lifeguard standing so close to the hot tub. I get it’s good to have a lifeguard but it felt like you couldn’t relax with him hovering so close and listening to conversations. Also, if you have a kid under 14 you have to be IN the hot tub. I’m all about parents being responsible but I don’t get why I had to be in the hot tub and couldn’t be 3 feet away in a chair watching my teenagers, especially with a lifeguard right there! For that reason alone I don’t think we would book the HOJO again. It seems like it’s best for families with young children.
