The parking lot is convenient but also quite busy. The rooms were average but very clean, very comfortable beds and pillows. No microwave in rooms but very roomy mini fridge. Basic tv, not a smart tv that we could connect to but that was ok as we didn't spend much time in the room. Steps away (shared parking lot, which might be why it was so busy) with the best restaurant/pub in town, moose mulligans, and a short walk down to the marina/water. The breakfast that is included is very minimal (bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt) coffee and tea, but that's ok we weren't expecting much more. Everything is in walking distance (beach, restaurants, mini golf, distillery, ice cream, food trucks). Very very minimal housekeeping was provided, but we didn't mind. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall we had an amazing stay and will be coming back here again. Thank you, super 8 sicamous.

This property is located in a great spot. The room appeared to be clean but there were BED BUGS. Worker would not come to the room to look and see the bed bugs for himself.Worker told us we would get 20%off and he would spray the room. When Expedia contacted the worker, the worker denied any bed bugs to Expedia. Very disappointed only 20% was reimbursed and only spraying the room. I contacted Public Health BC and unfortunately they do not deal with bed bugs and so I guess this Super 8 will get away with just a spray and rent the room out again. In Alberta bed bugs are dealt with by Public Health. This was very disruptive as we were up at 3:00am with bites and could not get anyone at the emergency phone number. Had no sleep and our day was ruined (actually our whole vacation was ruined). Had to shorten our vacation as my spouse reacted to the bites terribly and was seen in emergency twice. When we arrived home this incident took more of our time to deal with our belongings and ourselves properly to make sure our own home would not be infested.NOT HAPPY!

Honestly it's outdated at best, most of the plug ins need to be replaced and it's bare bones for comfort. The price is high. Would only stay again out of necessity.

Rooms are old. Run down..holes in the couch. The sofa bed is from the Three's Company set. The toilet ran all day for 4 days. The shower rod is held on by a piece of chewing gum. The water pressure is awful and you have to get next to the wall in order to shower. Location is good. AC works well. Parking lot is full of people that go to mooses pub..so nowhere to park.
