I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the amenities that were provided: even salt and pepper for the kitchen. I had everything I needed to use in the kitchen, the bathroom was spacious and clean.

The hotel is one that has been fixed up. Anything they did replace feels cheap. Our matress was a little to firm for me, each person has their own preference. Pillows were nice, not to fluffy that it hurts your neck to sleep on. Bathtub is really cheap. Ever step I took in it, it creaked, i thought "I better not fall through". Water was super hot (10/10), water pressure (2/10), and we were ground floor! We were placed in a room that was next to the elevator, and I was prepared to ask to be moved, but it was very quiet functioning. We were satisfied with our stay, we probably will not stay again, only because my husband insists on free breakfast, and this place doesn't have that.

The staff get five stars. The room was clean but we were in 101 which was near the outside door where everyone used to exit to smoke. The water pressure in the shower was near non-existent. You had to scrub the soap off!!! If the staff were not so great, I would have rated this stay one star for the poor water pressure. BTW, the mattress was excellent. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping.

I stay here for business for about 6 weeks every year. It's the best deal for the price in Ann Arbor. You get a kitchen, gym, laundry, and a store withbasic food items for the same price of a single room at other hotels. It's not fancy, but it's a good choice for business travelers.
