Romantic accommodation in Arashiyama

I had a great stay at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto. The room was really spacious and I was kindly given an upgrade by reception, which was a lovely touch. The bakery in the lobby was fantastic as well – perfect for a relaxed breakfast and great coffee. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d happily return.

Excellent location less than a 2 minute walk to Kyoto Station. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us throughout our entire stay. Very spacious rooms with enough room to relax just before bed after a long day. When we return to Japan we’ll be sure to book this. Absolutely amazing stay.

This hotel was an absolute delight, offering comfort, style, and outstanding service from the moment we arrived. The highlight was easily the breakfast buffet—an impressive spread with fresh pastries, hot dishes, seasonal fruit, and great coffee. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The rooms were spotless and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. I would happily stay here again.

It was such a nice hotel and the bathtub was so nice!

Welcome at check-in was very nice, and the staff were very attentive and help through our stay. The breakfast was excellent, w a ithwide range of options. The guest lounge was a nice space to relax outside of the room.
