Nice but could have been better

We paid fully online but then when checking in they made us pay a $50 deposit and were told we would get it back 1-3 business days after checking out and we still have not received it. The sink leaked and we had to get someone to come fix the air conditioner.

Stayed here for 2 days before we immediately had to leave because of bed bugs in the bedding. The staff was notified immediately, from bites on our skin and body to speaking to the manager. The manager stated he would refund the whole stay due to us having a kid. I had an allergic reaction to the bites and had to go to the hospital. We could not enjoy our stay and had to leave early due to this. Spoke with Expedia days and days after, haven't received a email , only call recordings of refunding us but we have yet to hear from anyone on their end. The hotel manager was nice about it and came and stated to us he sent the authorization email for the full refund but Expedia keep lying about not receiving it. I have booked with this company for years with no problems but the first time I have an incident like this, they have yet to take it serious. It's been more than 5 days since our stay( we have belongings that had to go back to our home. This is property damaged to the 3rd degrees. Worst experience in my life.
