Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location
I recently stayed at this hotel in central London and, unfortunately, the experience did not match the price I paid (around $200 per night).
The biggest issue was the check-in process. They absolutely would not allow check-in before 3 p.m., even by an hour or two, which is very unusual for a hotel in this price range. I ended up waiting over two hours with no flexibility from the staff.
I also had repeated issues getting basic amenities. I requested towels three or four times and only received them after going down to the reception myself — they never delivered them to the room. For a hotel charging this rate, that level of service was very disappointing.
The room itself was extremely small — much smaller than expected for the price point. Aside from the great central location, the overall value was not there.
I wouldn’t stay here again unless the hotel improves its service and offers a level of comfort that matches what they charge.
