The room I stayed in was terribly outdated. I was made aware, after asking for a refund for the second night, they are in the process of updating some of the buildings. Perhaps, this should be included in the advertisement so that perspective clients would know if they choose this property what to expect.
I asked the individual at the front desk for a refund, I booked another accommodation for my second night, I was told I could not receive a refund from the lodge, I had to ask Expedia for a refund, This did not make sense to me because I paid the lodge directly.
Thankfully, when I called Expedia, the situation was rectified and I received my refund from the lodge.
This, for me is not an establishment I will book with again.
