Great stay in Banff

We had a great time at the Banff Park Lodge this past weekend. Although there were some renovations happening while we were there, they did not bother us at all. Our room was great and very clean. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Banff and will recommend to others. Love the online check-in, the notification to your phone when your room is ready and digital key on your phone, as well as the digital check-out. Made the whole process seemless. We also enjoyed the pools and the breakfast buffet at Crave Mountain Grill. Thanks for a great stay.

Everything was very convenient. There are 2 onsite restaurants, which was great because we checked in late and one restaurant was still open. Food was very good too! Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Great customer service. Friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast - we had it every morning of our stay. Location is very convenient to dining and shopping. Ski rental shop is onsite. Ski shuttles pick up and drop off in front of hotel. The only down side is the pool area could get crowded in the evening because the amenities are shared with their sister hotel across the street. Overall, we had a great experience. Would definitely stay there again.

The new rooms are very nice and well laid out. With fridge and microwave. Really does make a difference. Sadly the hotel is undergoing a big renovation and we had no access to our room through the hotel. We had to complain on two occasions about kids from a hockey club playing jockey in the corridor. It’s unacceptable for a hotel of this nature to have this situation. Then when it came to the pools and hot tub we could not even get near it due to loads of kids screaming and shouting and taking over the place. Not sure I would visit the hotel again. Apart from the above it’s a stunning hotel and well renovated.

Discussed this with Amanda. Huge disappointment, due to hockey team who woke us up, kids running around, pool not accessible due to amount of kids running around. You must do better, renovated rooms are not enough. Staff was kind though. Also rooms have bare minimum offerings, only one kind of tea as an example.

Price point for this property and amenities was not worth the cost. Construction going on in the building should have been reflected in a discounted rate. It is good to see that an effort is underway to improve the property. Something as simple as not offering bottled water in the rooms is an oversight by management.

Property was under some construction as they are upgrading. Despite some inconveniences the staff went out of their way to welcome us, show us where to go, and to give some discounts for the inconveniences. Once these upgrades/renovations are completed we'll try and find the time to visit again.
