This hotel isn’t bad but in certain areas they need to spend some money, the carpet on the floor outside of the rooms needs replacing , Banff on the whole is expensive in relation to what you get for value for money. The staff were excellent and very accommodating.

Loved the room and the restaurant! Front desk staff were friendly and professional! The only thing that caught me by surprise was all the rooms have exterior entrances. So, raindrops are no fun. Other than that, wonderful stay, and I would return!!!!

Banff is beautiful. I stated this lodge a few months prior to July and it was incredible. Everything was amazing. I loved it so much. I booked it for a night in July and drove 600 km for the experience of the lodge as well as the area. I’ve already spoken to the staff about my concerns. There was no indication on the website or on Expedia that the upper hot tubs were being renovated and that there was construction going on. To be fair I know their busy season is in the winter and it’s important to have everything ready for them, but I would’ve loved to have known just to how much things would be affected We had a small pet and unfortunately the room was not cleaned. Well as we found other pet hair and some existing damage to the room itself that was not repaired. I did share my concerns with front desk staff, as well as sharing some photos with them and they were very sympathetic and understanding. The general manager got in touch with me and I did share my concerns and I believe I was heard. My main complaint is really letting the hotel know that if there are renovations happening to please inform people while they’re looking for a place to book. I have no idea when I may be back in Banff, but would try this place again once all the renovations and repairs are done

Stay here, you won't regret it.

This is an amazing property in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Parking onsite is in an underground garage, accessible by elevator or stairs. The front desk staff at Moose Lodge arranged a tour to Lake Louise and the Lake Louise Ski area summer gondola. The vouchers were accepted with no problems. If you go to Lake Louise, be sure to pack a lunch or buy from the ski area Restaurant, as there are no food or drink vendors at Lake Louise. The Pacini restaurant at the Moose Lodge had excellent meals and appetizers. Reservations recommended. They have outside seating as well. There is an IGA grocery store one block away if you need to buy bottled water or snacks. The traffic can be bad near the Banff sign because of pedestrians in the crosswalk for photo ops. Consider taking the next exit off the highway to access downtown Banff during the summer.
