The kitchen had barely anything to cook with. Give a deposit, get a couple of items to cook with. To eat with, a spoon and 2 forks, a couple of plates. A microwave. The room itself is quite large. However, a big however, the only furniture besides the bed is one worn out easy chair, and half a round table (with 2 chairs). This size, should have sofa/love seat, coffee table at least. Very dirty; have to keep on bothering front desk, maids to do any cleaning, and still they do not wipe anything. A/C did work well though. Price is good, though. Extra space is useless unless you just need lots of floor space, say have 15 pieces of luggage. Front desk was polite. Very good location for food, etc, access to Nana area. Fairly quiet as a few hundred meters from the livelier part of Nana. Bed very stiff (thin old mattress).

A good sized room. All amenities present. Fridge, shower, kettle, safe (didn’t work). Fairly quiet despite the location. Fresh towels. Sheets looked clean. Room looks tired, and the smell of cigarette smoke was off putting for a non smoker. Budget price so all good enough.

Really like the people they work there. It’s very 1970’s. Rundown in a cool way. For the price it’s great. The rooms with the kitchens on the 3rd floor have good internet speeds. Small pool. It’s just on the edge of the Soi 4 action which offers some respite from the bars, etc.. breakfast is really god for the price.

If you get the deep discount that seems to be available on every booking site, this is a great deal. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the air con works well and there’s plenty of hot water. These are all things you often don’t find in bites at this price. Is it older? Yes. Is it a bit shabby around the edges? Yes. Is that part of its old Bangkok hotel. Charm? For me, yes. But not for everybody. But for the price and the location, this is a real steal.

Older property but close to major parks, public transport and entertainment options. Room was big, like studio apartment. They allowed me to check in early. There is a 7-Eleven practically next door for your immediate shopping needs. Felt safe in, on and around the property.
