We had a terrific stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and presentable and the beds were very comfortable. Best of all...it was so quiet! We couldn't hear the ppl in the next room and the hotel is right beside the highway HOWEVER you cannot hear it in your room. I'd definitely stay here again!! Thanks again for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel is simple and generally clean. I was not fond of the carpet in the room. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and amiable. Breakfast could have used a few more items but we made due with what was provided.

Room was at 74 when we got in the room turned air conditioner on to 64 degrees and the temperature never dropped. Woke up sweating. There was hair in the tub I’m hoping from the cleaning lady. Was there for two nights hoped they would have tidied the room the second day so tub would be clean but no beds were still not made and hair was still in tub. Also there was no water pressure at times to flush toilet or wash hands. Was not the best experience

A Very Clean Hotel

We booked this hotel as a last-minute need to stay in Barrie overnight. We were just looking for a place to sleep, and so we booked based on the lower price. We honestly did not expect much, but we got much more. The hotel service was fantastic at the front desk. Check-in was quick and efficient. We opened up our room which was on the main floor - where we coule park right oout front. and the room smelled very fresh and clean. The bathroom was spotless and modern. We always wipe down hotel rooms wherever we stay with Disinfectant wipes and this time the wipes stayed white. The room was spotless. There wasn't a surface that we wiped down that had dust, dirt, flith or any kind. It was very impressive. The A/C worked very well - which is good because it was a HOT day (40degrees). The bed was fine - but not the most comfortable - and pillows were a little light. The towels in the bathroom were still very full and fluffy. The shower head was high enough for tall people, and water pressure was good. Breakfast was served until 10 AM - but unfortunately when we got there at 9:20Am there was only waffle and ceral options (which we do not eat) The hot breakfast (eggs, etc) were gone - as was the coffee. This was a bit disappointing, but whatever.
