The hotel is old and needs maintenance; the photos of the bathrooms do not correspond to reality. It needs repairs, the doors do not close properly,the closing sensor of the elevator does not work well, and the dashboard is fallen and hanging. Excellent location and good breakfast.

Hotel was great. Staff were fantastic, rooms clean and modern, breakfast offering was good. Rooms could have done with more storage space, don’t like living out of a suitcase. Noted the eco-credentials, but would have liked a tea making option in the room, instead of having to get the complementary hot water downstairs. We did have one problem with noise. The area the hotel is located in is quite, but however noise from the street is

We had messaged ahead requesting a room in the main building but were allocated a room across the road in the annex. This in itself was not a big issue but the room was sub par to our expectations. There were numerous gouges and marks on the wall. It was in need of renovation. The fridge did not seem to work and the shower tended to flood the bathroom. Just to note this was a standard room not economy so I did expect more. I believe you can request a room clean but we weren’t advised this on check in. By the time we realised this we were about to leave next day. We did manage to get fresh towels ourselves. Plus points we got to check in a couple of hours earlier than expected which was helpful. Breakfast was also excellent, plenty choice and lots of tables so we never had to wait. The annex building was quiet even over a weekend. Location of the hotel was good too. Short walk from the light rail stop for the airport.

This hotel has 3 separate buildings; our room was in building 2 across the street from the main lobby. The room was decent in size but very poorly illuminated- depressing! The bathroom was functional but too small. On the bright side: breakfast was included and very good!

Not the worst, not the best

The hotel seems to be mainly used for large tour groups. It is separated into two sections with a road in between. I was in the second building which was not staffed. The street was noisy at night. The staff was pleasant and for being a bus drop off and pick up place the next day, it was okay.

We were a family of 7 travelling. Not much for vegetarian options at breakfast other than bread, cheese and beans. We had a squeaky sofa bed and the hotel was good about getting us an additional room so our final night we got better sleep. Reason why I didn't give it a 5star was. There is no individual temp control in the rooms. We were super hot each evening.

Dated room in old wing

The hotel has a new wing and an old wing. The reception is in the new wing. I was in the old wing. The room that I had was run down and dated. There was no air conditioning and I had to open the window for ventilation. The TV was not working. There was no telephone. The elevator was small. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Hurtigruten terminal. For one night’s stay it is OK but not for longer stays. I can’t comment on the new wing though. Breakfast was at the new wing and was sumptuous.
