Guten Tag

Really picked cause of closeness to Berlin train station, Intercity really impressed me from the staff to the cleanliness of the hotel. Checking in is a breeze and the lobby was a wonderful place to hang out and have drinks when the bar was open. Definitely add on the breakfast if you want a pretty good breakfast. The room was great as well, every detail of the room was used from the shelves by the bed for charging phones and other devices.

It would have been very helpful to have at least a kettle for boiling water in the room. It was not easy to get hot water from reception, especially since I needed it frequently for my child.

I have never stayed at hotel where I showed up and there was literally one pillow and one blanket. The bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep and the stuff is not available at night so you cannot get service between 11 PM and 8 AM if you want additional pillows or blankets. For a hotel that has hundreds of rooms that seems outrageous. I’ve never been to a place this ridiculous.

Check-in desk wanted us to upgrade - don’t fall for it. We’re also told bed was one with two dooners. Were happy rooms had two seperate beds. Take your coffee/tea, hot water available in foyer. Room serviced every 3 days, ran out of hand soap, was expected to replace canister ourselves over basin. Don’t expect room service. Good location to main station.

Overall stay was fine for 2 nights and good location. I was initially denied the WiFi access code because i was not a "Business Class member". Finally received it when i showed them it was included in my booking.

It was very easy checking in via the self service station. However when i got to the room, whilst it was clean and spacious, it had one small thin pillow and a single doona on a double bed. I should of asked for 2 more pillows.

No tea & coffee making facilities, disappointing. Did see hot water to right of reception as I was leaving. Ignore self service checkin, it wanted me to see a human after I missed my place in short checkin queue. Otherwise wonderful, a tv that worked (unusal) excellent room good size & great shower. Free bottled watet on arrival, fridge not very cold! Very convenient for Berlin Hbf station. Take exit to Europaplatz, look right you will see a large "glass box" building. To the right are 2 hotels, walk between them the hotel is on the left just behind hotel, (or take the long way using online directions). Quiet area seemed safe, breakfast was good & included hot option. Easy walk to attractive area across the river

Mixed bag

The hotel overall was nice and comfortable, and mostly clean. However, the carpets and the headboards of the beds were very stained and dirty. The towels were very thin and threadbare. The breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful with a variety of foods including a full English breakfast, eggs, breads, pastries and cereal, fruit, yogurts, meats and cheeses. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, except for one woman on our last day. She was quite rude and demanding when we checked out. We were asked to pay the city tax when we checked in and gave our credit card, but when we checked out this woman was very gruff about how we hadn't paid and never left a credit card and demanded we produce an invoice showing we had paid. I don't know what went wrong when we checked in, but somehow the charge never went through, I guess, but it was in no way our fault yet she acted like we were trying to defraud the hotel or something and was very impatient with us as we tried to figure out if we had actually paid since we were asked to pay at check-in and we did give a credit card.

Excelente hotel, muito proximo da estação central, como estavamos em 4 pessoas, compramos o ticket 24horas para grupo de 5 pessoas no aeroporto, em 30 minutos estávamos no hotel, Dica: Use a linha flex que faz somente 3 paradas. O hotel tem um fantástico café da manha e um otimo quarto e chuveiro...tudo nota 1000
