As I am a senior, at check in, the gentleman at front desk was most helpful carrying my bag upstairs to second floor. They are renovating first floor rooms. If they renovate all rooms the same as the one I was in it will be excellent! I’m sure they will also install handicap front door entry which would be most helpful. I would stay there again!

Thanks again Pinewood! We upgraded our room no problem on arrival. My family and I were comfortable and grateful for such a clean and lovely room. Check-in was easy and the staff were so friendly. Great price for a last minute upgrade. We will stay here again when we come back up North. Highly recommend!

Room was renovated and clean. Hotel is being renovated. Some areas as well as the outside of the building have not yet been upgraded. Overall a decent location.

This is an excellent place to stay... for all the reasons noted above. Furthermore, the on-site dining facility is fabulous. Excellent menu, excellent service, exceptional food preparation and at more than reasonable prices.

I did like the new room, however the toilet had dry feces in it. We also had ear wigs. Brand new room. The rest of hotel is so outdated. No staff on after 10 at night. The pillow cases were almost light brown in color. They need to brighten them. Towels and cloths too,. We would stay again but hope it is fixed up by then.

Harry at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He made sure we could get our key easily when we arrived quite late and in the middle of a thunderstorm. We felt welcomed and safe after a very hard drive. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was apparent that renovations had happened. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay. Came for a wedding this past weekend and I honestly had nothing bad to say. The staff was amazing, even though things are tight right now, they made everything work in accommodating everyone and their needs. Owners are amazing people and super friendly and inviting making everything feel like home. I cannot wait to see the rest of the renovations complete, as I'm sure it will look amazing. See you all again soon.

Although the exterior seems very plain, we were pleasantly surprise with the appearance of our room. It was on the second floor, was comfortable and seemed to be newly renovated. The only minus was that it just needed some finishing touches. Also, be warned that there is no elevator.

Excellent stay!

The room and hotel are very clean. The reception and restaurant staff are excellent, very cordial and friendly. The food in the restaurant is also excellent with large portions served.
