We were pretty disappointed with this property. It was very difficult to navigate around the property and was confusing. The room was small and the beds were uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though it was in the 50s outside and there was no way to make it cooler. WiFi was very weak in our room. Breakfast was also disappointing as the food was lackluster and not very good. The grounds around the hotel however were beautiful and well maintained. Sadly we wouldn’t stay here again.

So nice to golf. Then relax at the bar. Great wait staff. Breakfast Buffett was fantastic. Great ending to our trip to Scotland. Taxi to airport so nice rather than airport hotels with no golf and no views.

Nice stay, but not value for money.

The hotel and surroundings areas are great, a very good piece of history on their own. However, the rooms, the facilities and restaurants look quite dated, as if they got stuck in the 90s. The food was average. Staff was very kind.
