staff was friendly suggested a restaurant around the corner and gave us a card for a discount. convenient parking and easy to get back on the interstate.

We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but I saw many people enjoying it. The only downside was that the pool closed so early. Since there was rain every afternoon during our stay it would have been nice to use the pool a little later. The room was very spacious and the staff was friendly and courteous.

Staff was extremely accommodating to our needs. Rooms were large and clean. The only complaint I have is the breakfast. A bagel/cereal bar was not what I was expecting. Most hotels have a nice hot breakfast for guests.

tl;dr This is a good hotel with nice, helpful employees. But it's rundown and seriously needs a refresh. The TV in our room wouldn't work. Exploration revealed the cable connection wasn't screwed into the back of the TV because it was broken. Rather than just bringing in another TV, they moved us, which was fine. In the new room the TV worked but the hvac was extraordinarily loud, to the point where we wanted to turn it off. Adjusting the temp so it wouldn't come on at all did not work. The on-off controls didn't work. So we had to just unplug it.

No idea where all of those "10/10" reviews come from. This place is a 2 at best. This is your stereotypical cheap FL motel that you see in the movies, and the people staying there were a reflection of that. Loud, dirty, careless, inconsiderate. Screaming kids with no supervision, loud phone conversations outside so everyone can hear your drama, working on vehicles in the parking lot, playing music outside until 1-2am on a weeknight, almost every room had a makeshift table for smoking and drinking outside the door. But those are the people, and I'm just setting the scene for the motel review...This place is trash, but they're very proud of their trash. The first thing I noticed was a sign at the check-in desk saying not to put the towels and washcloths on the floor because they'll get dirty and you'll be charged an extra cleaning fee... Um, the only way they're getting dirty is if the floors aren't clean. Once I got in the room, I saw that they definitely were not. Especially in the bathroom. Floors were visibly dirty, and even had somebody's buttcrack-rolled toilet paper on the floor. And those towels they're so protective of are see-through, and the washcloths literally had holes worn in them. Most uncomfortable mattress I've ever laid on. I stacked the two together to try to get some relief. Not sure if it worked, but I went with it. Clothes rack was rusted and corroded. Poorly repaired holes in the wall. Coffee creamer packets so old they were solid like hard candy.

Room was clean, kitchen was stocked, we had everything we needed without having to disturb staff or be disturbed. We came over Mother’s Day weekend and it was very chaotic. The lobby had a disgruntled customer who came in early to get her room key and had to wait four hours until check in. She made a scene and was very loud complaining about how she wasn’t being catered to fast enough. Jenna assisted me during check in and was balancing the lobby full of other customers the disgruntled customer and me. She was friendly, worked efficiently and tried hard to accommodate the complaint while checking me in. She did a great job. Check out was easy and quiet due to our check out time.
