The property is beautiful and the 2 ladies that work in the evening at the front desk and bar were awesome and very helpful. As for my first room there was hair in both the tub and jacuzzi. In the second room our soap amenities were used but the room was clean so we stayed in it... breakfast times need to be more specific if your eating the free breakfast or the buffet.

The staff was wonderful from the agent that checked us in to the agent that checked us out! You can tell they value their career and the property. The staff will go above and beyond for you! However, you can tell the owners of the property DO NOT care about the maintenance or upkeep of the property. The rooms are very outdated. The rooms smell of mold, the beds are terrible as well as the pillows! These are all OWNERS issues! The owner needs to invest in updating this property. Back in the 90s when I stayed here it was AMAZING!!!

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only negative was a fight outside of our door with continuous foot traffic back and forth all night, talking loudly. Security at night would be beneficial.

I was under the impression that it was a nicer motel than it was. The furnishings were older and well used. The shower and toilet area was very small (compact) and you can tell the shower had been refinished (painted with a bathtub refinishing paint). The carpet was not the worst I’d seen. Odd thing is when they replaced the carpet the carpet that goes up on the wall as a trim wasn’t changed (it was old gold color like from the 80s). They had 2 types of breakfasts one free (waffles, cereal, toast (that I saw) and a pay buffet (good price). In my opinion they wanted you to purchase the buffet. We opted to go somewhere else to eat. Do not try to check in before the 3pm time or they will charge $25 for early check in (we arrived around 2:30 we opted not to pay that for 30min.)

Location is very good, room was clean and functional, staff was efficient and friendly. There are 2 breakfast options. The free breakfast is very limited. You can pay $6 for a buffet breakfast which is very good. If you get a room in the tower, parking can be a problem.

Our stay was ok. We liked that the pool is open 24/7. The key to our room wouldn’t work multiple times. We had to keep going to the front desk where we waited a long time for service. My 7 year old only ate an apple for breakfast but we were charged the full $6.99 price for the breakfast buffet.

The paid breakfast was great, and the service people who waited tables and kept the buffet fresh were very friendly, helpful people. The room was what was expected and was clean with plenty of towels and good bedding. We really wish the TV had streaming service, but that is not a deal breaker. This made our second stay at this Clarion, and both times we have been happy.

Was disappointed that they now charge for hot breakfast as they did not in my past stays there. I was also very upset that they charged me a hotel service fee of $15.00 per night that was not included in the expedia total price given.

We were charged $50 more than what our booking price was. In addition to this we have a pending charge for over $200 that should not be on here. The hotel advertises a private hot tub in the king suite when in fact it's a jacuzzi tub that's not very big and doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the hot tub. The indoor pool area has a very strong chlorine smell so we didn't even try going in there to swim. The lady at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all. The bed and pillows aren't the best. We will not be staying here every again.

When checking in the clerk had told me that they would charge $50 for incidentals and that it would come off after leaving. That was fine but what they tried to charge my card $80, 1st time then $95 the 2nd time and 3xs $45 and when I went to the clerk all she could say was our system has bugs in it were having a meeting about it. Thank goodness it was a cash app card and it was locked cause the card I used for the room was a different one. Then the day of check out she (clerk) tells me that the hotel charges you $15/ day as a service (resort) fee and it was something new they were doing and I wasn't aware of this when checking in because ALL I was told in signing in is you acknowledge that it was for incidents. Beware when signing to check in because they charge more than what you pay. Hidden fees. Oh and the housekeeper never even came in the room but we paid fees.( you get some kind of service when paying resort fees) just saying.

I loved the experience here, i will strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. The poolside bar and grill has breakfast also lunch and dinner. Also the drinks are good.

A few changes made

We have stayed at the Branson Clarion on many occasions. One of the main reasons we stayed was for the free buffet breakfast. Now they have a resaurant on the property, so those great free breakfasts are gone. You can get a hotel anywhere in Branson. Loved the Clarion, but that free breakfast to help ease expenses for a vacation in Branson, will be a huge factor when we lookfor a new "home base" hotel for our many vacays in that area.
