We loved our stay so much here that we booked a second time on our way back from New Brunswick. The room was spacious, and the major win was the access to the patio door directly from the room to take out our dog. We will definitely come back!

“A Relaxing Stay with Excellent Food and Amenities” I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Universel in Rivière-du-Loup. The highlight for me was definitely their indoor pool — spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a long drive or a busy day of travel. Their culinary team deserves special mention — the dinner and breakfast were both exceptional, offering some of the finest food in the area. Every dish was flavorful, well-presented, and prepared with great care by the chefs. Overall, it’s a great spot for both relaxation and convenience, whether you’re passing through, on business, or exploring the region. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Rivière-du-Loup! We forgot an item, later called and got assistance with "Blue", She was really helpful.
