I've stayed at Caravelle before and I like it because of the great customer service and clean hotel in a busy district. However I was disappointed with my reservation this time as I had checked in to my hotel at 7:00pm only to find out that the hotel had CANCELLED my reservation at 4:00pm. Although they did email me to confirm, I had been flying all day so had no access to check my email. Because we were already there and tired, I re-booked the room only to find out that our original room is no longer available and the only option was VIP. Sure, it's great to have VIP but not for an exaggerate price tag when that wasn't the room I originally booked. They did not do anything for me to assist with this inconvenience. What would have been ideal is if they could honour the original price booking. Because of their customer service to loyal customers and not offering any better solution, I will never stay at Caravelle again.

Prime location convenient to city walk steps to find restaurants and coffee shops. Nice view of the opera house a few housekeeping issues but overall good. Perhaps need a bit of attention to detail to dusting well kept of the floor. Staff friendly and all speak good English. Especially thank Lam at the Concierge he was so helpful and friendly

Lovely hotel in central location!

The hotel is centrally located. Very convenient to everything. The bathroom is a bit old. Some mold on the soap dispenser and corners. But the room is spacious and the lobby is luxurious.
